Resources

We have curated four different types of resources as a byproduct of the NCFRP 49 research:

  • The ‘Source-Use Concept Map’ links together data sources, analytical approaches, and urban and metropolitan challenges. In other words, it shows how an agency could employ an analytical technique utilizing one or more data sources to address a persistent challenge. As the map shows, there are a number of combinations of analytical techniques and data sources that can prove valuable.
  • A collection of 17 case studies showcase specific agency applications and best practices. In effect, the case studies exemplify different connections from the Source-Use Concept Map.
  • An annotated library of the most relevant previous National Cooperative Freight Research Program (NCFRP) studies can help identify additional guidance and resources for agencies and practitioners who would like to explore these topics further.
  • The glossary lists definitions for all technical terms and concepts in this NCFRP 49 guide.
